Kickstart Your Massage Therapy Career
To have a massage therapy career, you need to get a massage therapy license from your state. Your education is part of the requirements for a massage therapy license. These licenses are issued by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy. In Florida, you need 500 hours of study at a board-approved massage school. That’s where the Pensacola School of Massage Therapy and Health Careers (PSMTHC) comes in. Our Massage Therapy Program offers affordable tuition and high-quality instruction. We’re accredited, affiliated, and licensed to train future massage therapists.
Massage Therapy Clinicals
Have you heard the phrase “you learn best by doing?” Well, it’s a phrase we positively believe at MTC. Massage therapy is a hands-on career. Therefore, it requires hands-on learning. So, our approach encourages students to learn by doing the actual work. That’s why your clinicals are such an important part of your massage therapy training.
Once you’ve completed basic Swedish massage classes, you’ll start your clinical hours. Every Friday, you’ll have the opportunity to practice your skills with real clients. These sessions are completed on campus and supervised by your licensed massage therapist instructors. All the visits are 55 minutes long and cost clients only $35.
